How this site works
DubaiGF is a classified ads board. Women in Dubai post an ad about themselves; people who read it get in touch over WhatsApp. That is the whole of it.
What an ad is
One photo, a title, an age, a nationality, an area of Dubai, a language, and a few lines of description. Plus a WhatsApp number, which is how anyone reaches her. There is no messaging through this site, no profile to fill in beyond the ad itself, and nothing to sign up for if you are only reading.
One ad each
One live ad per account, and one per internet connection. The limit exists so the listing stays worth reading: without it, a handful of people with time on their hands fill every page and everybody else disappears. If you want to change your ad, edit it — editing is free and unlimited. What you cannot do is post the same ad repeatedly to keep it at the top.
Ads come down by themselves
An ad stays up for 183 days and then expires. You get an email a week before, and you can renew it for another 183 days in the month before it goes. If you do nothing, it comes down.
This is the most useful thing about the site. A board where ads never expire fills up with people who left Dubai two years ago, and every number you try is dead. Here, an ad being up means somebody renewed it recently, or posted it recently. Nothing is kept alive by neglect.
Nothing here is checked
This needs saying plainly, because plenty of sites imply otherwise. We do not verify anything. Not the photographs, not the ages, not the nationalities, not the numbers, not whether the person in the photo is the person who will answer the phone. There is no moderator comparing faces and no identity check of any kind.
An earlier version of this site did ask for a photo of the person holding a code we issued, and a moderator compared it with her other pictures. It was dropped because of what it could honestly claim: it showed that somebody could hold up a piece of paper, which is not the same as showing who she is, and a check that sounds stronger than it is does more harm than no check at all. If people believe the site has done the checking, they stop doing their own.
So: treat every ad as a stranger's claim about themselves, because that is exactly what it is. Staying safe is worth two minutes before you arrange anything.
What this site is not
Not an agency. Nobody here takes a booking, arranges anything, or takes a cut. We do not know what you arrange with anyone and we are not part of it. There is no fee to post and nothing to pay to read.
Removing an ad
If it is yours, you can hide it or delete it from your ad at any time, and deleting removes the photo from our servers. If an ad is not yours and should not be up — it is you and you did not post it, or the person in the photo is under 18 — reply to any email from us and it will be taken down.
